Prom Hairstyle Help!?!?!?! I have short curly hair?

I have just-above the shoulder naturally curly hair (think ringlets). When I try to straighten my hair, I tend to end up with a poof-ball, and if I blow-dry it an afro. It’s dirty blonde with natural highlights. I am wearing a turquoise strapless mermaid style dress. I want to put it up, but I don’t know how. I would love it if you had a picture, since I am getting my hair done at a salon that day.

Jewelry, hmm. I would think if the dress had diamonds, or diamond looking gems, diamonds. Everywhere, or sapphires. Opals would look really good though, pearls would give the under the sea look though, you dont want that. Chunky opals would look great with the dress, over all. You’re hair, you should use straightening creams if you want it straight. French braid your bangs or front part of your hair back and then leave everything else curly and pin it up with bobby pins? Or a bun? This picture is great, pretend her bangs with french braided, or just the front part was.
