Remember cassettes… my point accurately, the extended elapsed fairy tale comes to an end. Sony Corp. has proclaimed that it has stopped the manufacturing of Sony Walkman for a tape because of it’s roughly sales of the typical product.

The Walkman was commenced in the year 1979 and at present it’s been approximately 3 decades. This innovative gadget was one of its kinds. Even though it was not welcomed by everybody, except 80′s and 90′s saw the increasing reputation generally amongst the youngsters. After the invent of the Compact disc “CD” as we all be familiar with, Sony initiated its first transferable CD player. CD’s were enhanced than cassettes both in sound superiority and amount as it stored further songs than a music cassette. Then in the year 2001 Apple Inc. launched its foremost music player under the product name is “iPod” despite the fact that it was not the first mp3 player in the marketplace but without doubt it was the modernizer finally impeding fame of our first-class ol’ Walkman.

The reason Walkman is a legend is that, even though Sony has stopped the manufacture of the transferable cassette player, it still is world famed, as Sony never stopped the invention of music players, mobile phones etc under the equivalent brand name. Its most recent invention is the video mp3 player with OLED screen. Sony kept developing the brand to the fullest. Sony launched NW-A800, NW-A810, NW-S710, S610, NW-A820, A910 series Walkman etc. and there are many added. Along with music players, Sony launched cell phones in partnership with Ericsson having the feature of ingrained Sony Walkman.

It was unmistakable that technology keeps varying and improving with passing time, but a creation running this long is purely significance the commend. Sony also implicated that there are other products whose days are numbered; and lined up on its ‘hit record’ together with CD players, mini disk players and floppy disks and drives. So, more gadgets to be confirmed dead now…
